Jaipur Rugs, reputed as India’s global leader in handcrafted carpets, in collaboration with Vimar1991, the Italian textile house owned by Chanel, has unveiled The “Atelier Collection”,  a limited series of eight acrylic rugs that transform rare couture yarns into meticulously handcrafted works of art.

Founded in 1978 by Nand Kishore Chaudhary with just two looms, Jaipur Rugs has grown into the largest network of artisans in India, with over 7,000 looms and more than 40,000 rural artisans, 95% of whom are women.
