Small Is Beautiful

Mirabello World Class Interior Design Services in Qatar.

SCALE puts the spotlight on another interior design and fitout company in Qatar, Mirabello Trading & Decoration W.L.L , and their creativity in designing small spaces.

When Scale was conceptualised, the intent was to focus on works that inspire. That work could be the largest museum space in the world or the smallest of interior projects from Qatar. But work had to be completed with as much diligence and the workmanship needed to be of a finesse that made it worthwhile to share the story of its conception.  The project that we now put a focus on is one such work of craftsmanship. The interiors of a barbershop franchise, The Art of Shaving located within the Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl Qatar.

“This was one of our smallest projects, but as the saying goes, great things come in small packages. Mirabello was given a very tight deadline for this design-and-build project by Al Fardan Hospitality. The goal of the project was to personalise the concept of the world-renowned barbershop franchise, The Art of Shaving,” says the designer of Mirabello, “a firm which has been transforming clients dreams into reality, on time and on budget, for over 30 years.”Mirabello

“Our vision was to add a more luxurious feeling to space while meeting the operator’s design guidelines. Even though space was small, we were able to efficiently organize the interior in three different zones: the reception, the hair grooming area and the mani-pedi space. Through the selection of materials and attention to construction detail, we were able to exceed client’s expectations,” says the designer.

Since the time frame involved was less, no new materials or innovations were tried out, though the idea was to add an interesting touch to the small space available. The hat lights are an interesting element and along with the pictures give the space a touch of class.
